Things got interesting when the four newcomers, Bangla Tigers, Deccan Gladiators, Delhi Bulls and Karnataka Tuskers ended up being drawn into the same group which is Group A. The Group B comprised of the defending champions The Northern Warriors, Maratha Arabians, Qalandars and the Team Abu Dhabi.

Qalandars, who are a new addition to the tournament make their debut on the opening day. Qalandars are led by the Pakistani legend Shahid Afridi. Afridi told the media that he was delighted to play for the Qalanders as he brought them through the Pakistan Super League to the Abu Dhabi T10. Qalandars have added Laurie Evans, Samit Patel and Jordan Clark to their squad as replacements for Mohammad Hafeez, Faheem Ashraf and Imad Wasim who have not been given NOC by PCB.

Last year’s champions, Northern Warriors are also in action on the opening day as they begin their quest for two titles in two years against the Maratha Arabians.

The debutant teams, Bangla Tigers and Karnataka Tuskers will go head to head for the first time on Sunday, November 17.

Delhi Bulls who were formerly known as the Bengal Tigers will also play on the opening day against Deccan Gladiators. The Bulls are being captained by the 2019 ICC World Cup-winning captain Eoin Morgan. Morgan said that he is excited to lead the team into this new format of the game.

Eoin Morgan and Shahid Afridi will be the headliners of the tournament along with some of the biggest cricketing stars of the world. Some of the big-name players set to grace the Zayed Cricket Stadium will include Shane Watson and Chris Lynn, the powerful Aussies, the multi-talented and explosive West Indians, Andre Russell, Darren Sammy and Sunil Narine, Mohammad Nabi, the pride of Afghanistan and the legendary Sri Lankan bowler, Lasith Malinga.

The various team owners also expressed their excitement around the Abu Dhabi T10 league, which has essentially a newish-feel to it.

The Bangla Tigers, who are set to represent their country Bangladesh and all the Bangladeshis living in the UAE will bring a patriotic enthusiasm to the league. TV Channels broadcasting T10 cricket league 2019 is placed below.
