The fifth season of the Pakistan Super League will have a fresh innovation associated with it in the form of fan parks for the home fans. These fan parks will be made in different cities right throughout the PSL 5, helping fans to converge and watch their teams in action on big screens installed in these parks. Every team in the PSL this season will have one fan park.
Since this is the first season of the PSL in which all matches will be played in Pakistan, this is also the first time this has been brought in to the tournament. The host cities in the tournament include Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan. The day matches will begin at 2:00 PM PKT and night matches at 7:00 PM PKT.
Interestingly, fan parks is an innovation which has been used in other T20 tournaments like IPL and recently, the ICC had also tried it out during the 2019 World Cup.
It remains to be seen which cities will have these fan parks, whether it will be held in the same cities which are participating in the tournament or they should be hosted by cities which are not hosting any matches. Or both.
More information on the Pakistan Super League fan parks will be revealed soon. If you are looking to buy PSL tickets, click here.
