Peshawar Zalmi PSL 2021 Squad
Peshawar Zalmi players 2021 roster is placed here. Peshawar had a glorious time of things from 2017 to 2019, where they reached three consecutive PSL finals. They won the first against Quetta but lost the next two against Islamabad, and the Quetta exacted their revenge. Last season they dropped off the pace and had their worst regular-season finish by coming fourth. This still meant that they qualified for the first eliminator, but they lost against the eventual runners up Lahore by five wickets with an over to spare. Peshawar Zalmi 2021 squad is placed below.

Key Players on Peshawar Zalmi Team 2021
Peshawar retained just five players from last season, which was by far the lowest amount in the league. Of course, they kept Kamran Akmal’s services, the league’s highest scorer with 1537 runs to his name. He also scored the biggest total last season by smashing 101 runs from 55 balls. They also retained Wahab Riaz, who has picked up the most wickets in the league, so they have plenty of experience for their new incoming players to rely on. Speaking of those incoming players, they picked up South African David Miller, the young West Indian batsman Rutherford who win the tournament with Karachi last year and one of the most experienced players in the game of T20 Ravi Bopara.
They begin the tournament against Lahore on Sunday, the 21st of February, in the first game of that day. The two teams first met last season on matchday 11, and Peshawar won a reduced overs game by 16 runs. The game was reduced to just 12 overs due to rain, and Peshawar set Lahore a very respectable target of 133 runs, which they failed to chase down. They then met again towards the end of the regular season on game day 24 in what was one of the tournament’s closest and most thrilling games. Peshawar set Lahore a target of 188 runs, mostly thanks to Ali and Malik, who scored 131 runs between them. However, this time the Qalanders did chase the total down with just one ball left to spare. If this encounter is anyway near as thrilling as that one, then we will be in for a belter. PSL 6 Peshawar Zalmi team squad is placed above.
