The tournament kick starts on the 20th of February and will be contested by the following teams: Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United and Multan Sultans.
Each team will play each of their opponents twice, and the top four will qualify for the playoffs. Teams will score two points for a win and nothing for a loss. If a game is postponed for any reason, then both teams will receive one point each. If teams are level on points after completing the regular season, then the team with the most wins will rank higher. If they are still equal, they will be split by their net run rate.
The sides who finish first and second will meet in the first eliminator. The winner goes straight through to the PSL 2021 final, while the loser will get another chance in the third eliminator. In the meantime, the teams placed third and fourth will play each other. The winner will essentially move into the semi-finals or the third eliminator as it is also known. They will then meet the losing team from the first eliminator, and the winner will advance to the final. They will meet the winner of the first eliminator, and the winner will be crowned the champion. PSL 6 schedule 2021 is placed above.
