Multan Sultans Team Squad for PSL 2021
Multan Sultan players 2021 roster is placed here. The newest recruits to the PSL had their best season to date after finishing top of the regular season standings for the first time. They have made steady progress in each tournament since they were formed back in 2018 and have finished fifth, fifth, third, and first. Last season was a real breakthrough year for them as they only lost two of their ten games, comfortably topping the standings at the end of things. However, their lack of experience showed in their two eliminator matches in the playoffs. They lost the first one against the eventual winners Karachi, coming up short in a super over defeat. They then met Lahore, and we’re expected to sweep them aside and set up a mouth-watering rematch with the Kings. But they fluffed their lines and fell away tamely, falling short of the 182 runs set for them by 25 runs.
They begin their season on Sunday the 21st of February in the second match of the day against Islamabad United. Multan Sultans PSL 2021 squad is placed below.

Key Players on Multan Sultans Team 2021
The Sultans rightly so have retained a large portion of their players from last season. They again have South African Rilee Rossouw in their ranks, who has the PSL’s fastest ever century, which he scored in just 43 balls. Much like many other PSL teams, they have some English contingency in retaining James Vince while adding Adam Lyth to their squad. Undoubtedly their biggest signing is that of Australian big-hitter Chris Lynn, one of the most experienced T20 batsmen in the world. They have also implemented West Indian all-rounder Carlos Braithwaite who played for Peshawar last year.
In the last season, they were thrashed when the first sides first met on game day five with 20 balls to spare, as Islamabad quickly chased down the 164 runs set for them. However, they gained revenge over Islamabad on matchday 22 by beating them in an interrupted game, which saw both teams reduced to nine overs. The star for the Sultan’s that day was James Vince, who scored a marvellous unbeaten 61 off of just 24 balls.
Multan has been labelled the outsiders for this season’s tournament, which is strange given their successful campaign last season. They might not have the tools to go all of the way this year, but they are certainly no outsiders in my book. The Multan Sultan squad is placed above.
