PSL Final 2018 in Karachi

Islamabad United defeat Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 2018 Final

PSL 2019 final tickets will be released just before the end of the playoffs. The final of the 2019 edition of the Pakistan Super League is expected to played in Pakistan yet again but the venue for the title-decider is yet to be decided.

In the PSL 2018 final, the Islamabad United crushed the Peshawar Zalmi to win their second title.

This was after the United became the first team to qualify for the Pakistan Super League final after they went past the Karachi Kings in a hurry in the first Qualifier.

Chasing a score of 155 for a win, the United rode on a brilliant unbeaten 94 by Luke Ronchi to complete the win in 12.3 overs. Earlier, Mohammad Sami’s 2/20 from four overs and the spinners’ stingy bowling helped them restrict Karachi to a mere 154 on a good batting pitch.

The action now moves to Pakistan where the rest of the three playoffs games will be played.

Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board had confirmed that the PSL Final for the third edition of the tournament in 2018 will be held in Karachi.

The final of the 2018 edition of Pakistan Super League will be played in Karachi according to the confirmed PSL schedule that was released by the Pakistan Cricket Board. The PSL 3 final tickets will be available on Yayvo from 15th march onwards. PSL 2018 final tickets will also be available at select TCS Express Centers. The tickets price will range from Rs 1000 – Rs 12000.

Which Foreign Players Will Tour Pakistan for PSL 2018?

Three matches during the third PSL will be held in Pakistan; two Eliminators in Lahore and the final in Karachi. These games will be played on March 20, 21 and 25 respectively.

Yep, please mark these dates in your calendars – the three dates on which the PSL will be played in Pakistan this year. Last season, there was just one game played in Pakistan during the PSL – the final was held in Lahore – but this year will see three matches hosted in the country which should send the fans in raptures.

This third edition of the tournament will kick-start from February and a total of 30 league games will be held in Dubai and Sharjah. The first Eliminator will also be played in the UAE before the teams fly down to Pakistan for the remaining three finals matches.

In a PCB press release, they announced, “Teams will play twice against each other before the top four teams qualify for the play-off stage. Fans will get a chance to see their favourite stars in a total of 34 games played across four venues. Efforts are underway to stage two playoff games in Lahore followed by what would be a historic PSL final in Karachi.”

PCB chief Najam Sethi also said he hoped fans would turn up in huge numbers to support the PSL teams for this third edition of the tournament. The PSL 2018 ticket prices are expected to go up on sale closer to the start of the tournament and can be expected to be economically priced.
